The Chapel's Schoolhouse

The Chapel's identity is closely tied to the simple 19th century schoolhouse which symbolizes the historic Presbyterian concerns for an educated clergy,
Midwestern values, community, simplicity, and a respect for an earlier cultural tradition. The schoolhouse is the most quickly identified structure on our
site, sitting prominently on the corner northwest corner of our property at the intersection of CR 300 W and the Orland Road.
This abandoned schoolhouse was renovated in the early 1970's to serve as the worship center for summer visitors and vacationers in the lakes community, and
is used for the Chapel's 11:00 a.m. service weekly.
